Our series of consultations and devotions on Race Amity, Friendship and the July 22 letter of the Universal House of Justice continues. This month we will feature two friends, Van Gilmer and Bruce Bondy. Van Gilmer is committed to racial justice and unity, and involved with several like-minded organizations in the north suburbs of Chicago. He is a renowned soloist, composer, and choral director, and the original organizer and Music Director at the Bahá’í House of Worship for North America in Wilmette, IL. Bruce is a member of RAIN (Racial Awareness in the Northshore) and a group known as the Montgomery Travelers. He is an Award Winning Architectural Illustrator and the principal of Bondy Studio.
